Fantastic - I have had heated seats for the past six years as was not looking forward to a vRS without.

Finally got the pricing.

Heated front seats will cost

Good result...better late than never. Hopefully now it'll be easier for others to order them. Just think about it....Skoda UK have learned from Brisky and are now making money out of this thread as they weren't previously speccing it. Maybe we should get commision

Why is info so poor in Skoda, for example the UK hear about things we don't and vice versa, jaysus in this day and age of PC's its really pathethic :( .

Result!

Just spoken to the Marketing Manager at Skoda UK (a chap called Warren), and he has confirmed that heated front seats have now been added to the official UK options list for the vRS.

Option code PWO is the one to use (thanks Gaff), and they are available from yesterday.

I still don't have a price yet, but will update the thread when I do.

Bagpuss.

I agreed to buy a vRS TDI earlier this week and told my dealer I wanted 'heated seats'.

They were not sure about this initially, but I pushed the above info at them and they said they would check it out and see what they could do.

Lo and behold, they contacted me this morning and confirmed that 'your heated seats are ordered, Sir.'

The system works; thanks guys for getting this up and running! :D:thumbup:

It's great to get some confirmation that this actually works.

I've not actually ordered my car yet, as the new L+K has given me some pause for thought. It's much more tax efficient than even the vRS TDi, especially considering the cost of putting the same options on the vRS (those that are available, anyway).

I'm also very tempted by the DSG gearbox, which sadly still isn't available on the vRS :-(

Is there any chance this could be made a sticky and concluded with a definitive 'howto'?

I ordered a vRS Estate on Saturday and heated seats wasn't on the options list, nor did skoda appear to know about it when my dealer phoned them up.

I've given him the details in this thread:

  • Code "PW0" for front heated
  • they are euro spec not uk so order needs babying through system via the NSR system

He's going to try his best to get them, but doesn't sound fantastically enthusiastic at my chances.

Can anyone who's actually done it offer any more useful information in addition to the above that i can relay to my dealer?

Thanks,

MPM :D

Heated front seats are definitely part of the UK options list for the vRS now.

If the dealer has any problems, then get them to speak to Warren Richards at Skoda UK HQ.

He is the UK marketing manager, and the guy who ultimately made the decision to make them available on UK cars.

I've just ordered a car with the seats, and my dealer (Ashmore Green Skoda in Newbury) had no problems in putting them into the ordering system.

Cool, thanks - i'll mention those names to him :)

Cheers,

MPM :)
