You're missing the driving, the stunt shows, the racing and anything involving a car that moves.

You'll get to see the static displays (a bit like the motor show, but much smaller) and buy ch*v accessories at hundreds of fluffy dice selling stalls. Imagine the ripspeed section at Halfords but hundreds of times larger.

Also lots of semi naked girls.

being the NEC, you'll have to pay through the nose for any food you buy on-site.

I used to love AutoSport but 2 years ago it was noticably poorer that it had been and last year was packed with Max Power kids buying K&N filters for their 1.1 Fiesta.

Hence, I shant be going this year.

went yesterday, and didn't rate it much.... coulda bin summat to do with the fact that I'm full of lurgy (and should have been tucked up in bed instead lol) but I really think it's going downhill year by year :(

There will be a time soon when the 2 trade days become a seperate show and the rest is added to Max Power Live.

I don't know if the stuff in the "Live Action Arena" will be similar to what they do at the Motor Show but if so, you ain't missing much - it's mainly directed at 8 year old kids... oh! :rubchin:

OI! As I was triple booked for this weekend I asked a friend who was going to take my shopping list for me

I quite enjoyed the Russ Swift show, but once you've seen in once I guess there's not much else they can do. Even SWMBO enjoyed that and she hates cars :o:rofl:

  • 3 weeks later...
I'm down there on Friday.

 well why didn't you come and say hello?

on the EDC stand all weekend with two 900bhp evolutions and a couple of drift cars:)
