Where to get no. plates made up?

Featured Replies

I've been bought some private plates for Christmas, any idea where I can get some nice ones made up?

Quite fancy either the Ford logo of Focus logo, maybe a nice slogan on the bottom. Want to keep to standard text though.

All ideas welcome!

TIA!

Hya - I got some made here

The plates I got are show plates for BRISKODA.NET which I am hoping to use on the RR day, they might be worth a shot.

Don't think they are the cheapest ones around, but they were fairly quick and the plates look good :)

What do people think to these from GT Graphics (thanks Skodaw for the link ;) )

Most sites dont seem to have Ford badges, how strange.

Kwikpro will make whatever you want if you ask. I supplied the vRS logo for mine.

Must admit that does look rather nice :)

I would like the briskoda to be a bit bigger.

Shame it's all the way up Norff......but there's a chap here who's got a whole heap of car badge type alterations you can do, and he charges £7.49 a plate.

Fancy laser printing and everything - unlike Halfrauds who pulled out a box of letters and started to do it by hand........it's the 21st Century for pete's sake!

A1 Auto Spares, Milkstone Road, Rochdale.

I'll get the postcode when I can be botherd to go outside and read it off my plates.

I was very impressed with GT Graphics when they did my last set of plates.

Question on plates, i thought you had to show your log book and Id before you could get plates made, i got a Private plate and when i changed cars i had show my details before my local shop would make them.......this is to stop reproduction of plates to be used in raids as such, so if you plates off Ebay hoe can it be legal.............just my take upon it like, could be wrong ??

I think its because they advertise them as show plates, they can sell them.

I have used Design and order reflective acrylic licence number plates twice now in the past. They can put logos on etc, and manufacture to the correct standards. They are in ireland, so are currently exempt from the id requirements. Ford is not listed, but if you ask they will most likely do it for you.

I'd second FancyPlates - do what you want and very quickly :D

Chris

ill third fancy plates as well used them for plates for the clio and the octy.

Ok, going to go with Fancy Plates, but not going to have anything Ford/Focus specific as I probably wont be keeping it long.

I need a slogan though. I will only be owning diesels I should think, so something diesel related maybe? Don't want anything too provocative mind.

All ideas welcome!!!

"Smog mask available, please see driver (If you can) for details".............................:P :P :P
