Boot mat

Featured Replies

When I bought my Felicia Estate I bought a heavy duty rubber mat for the floor of the boot. This was specifically designed to fit the Felicia estate boot. There does not seem to be anything similar for the Octy. Have any of you come across anything like this as it really kept the fllor of the Felicia boot in good shape.

im sure ive seen a picture of one about on here mate, ill keep my eye out

Yes, there is a rubber boot mat for the Octavia. Mine came with one.

Or try here

Sorry I meant here

You will find what you are looking for in the Octavia Accessories brochure, William. Alternatively you could fit a tailor-made plastic boot liner obtainable from The Roof Box Co (listed in our links section). I bought a Carbox plastic boot liner from them for my Estate, and also have a heavy duty rubber mat which came with the car as part of a 'protection pack'.

William,

I brought a few of yards of ribbed rubber matting from an upholstery / carpet specialist (who as unfortunately now closed down), made a template using an old roll of wall paper and hey presto a custom fitted boot mat – also used the same stuff to make the footwell mats. One advantage of rubber is that it does not soak up water and cause the age old Octy problem of streaming windows.

what you want is one of these from your local skoda dealer.

William,

I got one from my dealer when I got the car. Genuine Skoda.

Or, try Cannon car mats from Halfords. You cut them to the size of the boot.

I got one of those Cannon ones from Halfords, they good bit of kit, thick heavy rubber, easy to cut and fit as well

I tried several car mats and the canon one was best for me as i could cut it round some electronics in the boot.

Was thinking of getting one of the rubber boot liners for the Octy for when the dog is in the back - dog hairs are a total nightmare to get out of the carpet.

Also need one of those dog prision devices to stop him marking the leather - anyone suggest any one who supplies these (Argos one looks a bit dodgy).

I had a Skoda one in my Octy Vrs. It protected the carpet, but it was hard rubber, and so tended to be slippery. The cargo net came in very handy!

Phil

Just got a Cannon one from Halfords at the weekend where they are on offer at

I wouldn't mind one of those with the flap that folds down to stop the dog scratching the bumper as he jumps in and out.

Folks, came across ads for these two sites in a mag .... my be of interest but I guess they are probably a bit on the expensive side ....
