Just wondered what sort of life expectancy the vRS brakes have.

My 54 plate Octy is just coming up to 50k. Should I be expecting brake issues at the next service (~54k)?

My vRS had well over 80k on it when I traded it in, and not once were the breaks replaced.

My Superb has just covered 30k, and both Fronts and Rears (pads and discs) have been done. Which came as a bit of a suprise.

Mines just coming up for service (on 500 mile countdown) 52k on the clock and the brakes are still like new;) My careful driving:P 03 plate by the way

My 53 plate needs new discs and pads all round anytime now, 44k on the clock.

The previous owner must have been a hard driver.

65k and halfway down my second set of pads,discs have stood up pretty well.

i am pretty hard on the brakes,i blame the lack of speed camera's in shropshire .

mines on 54K and still going strong.

Think my needing to play will get the better of me and replace them before they wear out though

4x4 rear pads and discs at 30k fronts warning light just come on at 37k

Mine was an ex police and was running original discs up until 116K when I changed them last week, its had new pads every 8-10k miles through its life tho.
