use more poison next time you build a road otherwise some badgers might survive

I think universal before-the-event preventative measures might be a bit costly !

Also, you'd have to change the law or risk doing a stretch !

It's a nice story - we can't destroy everything that gets in our way - badgers may well have been using those setts for centuries - we must acknowledge their rights - otherwise what kind of a world are we creating.?

I must say, I agree

No doubt there are some who would thrive on the opportunity to take some spades and a pack of terriers up there though :(
