Hello!

I'm new!

First things first, no I don't drive a Skoda

I drive a Fiat Punto Sporting which is probably as bad as you all think but he's done me well to be honest!

I live in Bournemouth and joined for two reasons, firstly, my Dad drives a 01 Y reg Octavia L&K and secondly as I now do a lot more motorway miles than I used to I am looking into getting a diesel car, one of my choices being the vRS Fabia.

So, um, please don't eat me for owning a Fiat, he'll sit in the corner and keep quiet and I'll just bounce around like I normally do!

Hello!

For the price of a Fabia soot producer, you can get a proper vRS 2nd hand with a years warrenty left on it!

Welcome to the site :D

No problems with the Punto, I've had several small Fiats in my time:

Uno 55S

Uno 60S

Uno Turbo mk1 with a mere 170bhp

Uno Turbo mk2 with a piffling 227bhp @ the wheels :D

As for the Fabia vRS, a nice little car, economical and reasonably brisk. Tidy handling and very well screwed together. Made much better with a remap :D

Hi, Aim! Another option is to buy an Octavia 4X4 and have it remapped for which you get far more bhp for your money.....and you can have it in a far wider choice of colours than black/silver etc etc. But if you really want a diesel then there are plenty to choose from in Skoda's inventory - and they are really good cars. :D
