Fabia + iPod

Featured Replies

Is there any way of creating an 'Aux' input on the standard Fabia 'Symphony' radio so that you can easily connect an iPod to it?

Skoda seem to have added this to most models, Octavia etc but don't seem to have added it to 2007 spec Fabias.

Have a look at a Dension ice link Products

I asked about that when I placed my order last week, but no luck. I've got an iTRIP that lets you tune the radio to your iPOD, but it only plays back in mono so it's not ideal. :(

The salesman said I could change the unit myself, but it would have to be approved by Skoda or else unwanted side effects could occur due to interference e.g. malfunction of the trip computer etc.

I have A FM radio transmitter on mine for £15 and works a treat plug my K800i in and away I go. Really good and plays stereo unlike the I Trip. Really good quality. I was going to get the denison but costs way too much for what I wanted it for

Looks like I bad-mouthed the iTRIP unjustly. There are two modes - one for strong signal(stereo) and one for weak (mono) - sorry :ashamed: :dunce:

However, I do have to have the radio volume up fairly high to get anything reasonable out of the iTRIP. Moving the unit closer to the antenna makes no difference to the volume.

what do you use inb the i trip? is it an i pod? maybe the volume on the player is turned down? I have to turn the volume up most the way for it to be as loud as a normal cd on mine.
