I am the proud owner of a BMW killing 2003 occy vrs.

Just today I heard deisel sounds from the engine bay, on further inspection I noticed the rad was rattaling so I have booked that in to be fixed, however the main rattle/deisel sounds/clonking is coming from what appears to be the left to top part of the engine.

Its not the 3 noise faults listed on here IE oil pump and all because it happens all the time, she still pulls the same and their is no loss of anything neither is their any warning lights, any ideas?

I dont get it I have a full service history and she aint thrashed (often) I would hate to think she is going wrong :(

Lol, BMW killing VRs.

M5? M3?

Or 'H' reg 318i?

Sorry , couldn't resist, I realise i'm probably playing into someones hands though!

Carry on.

Hehe. What mileage and history do you have to do with the cambelt and so on?

I have full Skoda service history, the cam belt was done at 20k miles and the car has done 33k overall.

As for BMW killer, I live in Richmond London the big BMW owners club land, I do my mates all day in their beemers, obviusly CSL's and M3's and so on are not around in numbers only the ****e ones driven by middle men whome think they are the man.

Is there an engine mount thereabouts on the vRS?
