Depends what you want to do to it.. track type car? drag type car? drift type car? (hehe that should be interesting).

I am pushing for at least 200 at the wheels right now, and it will be achieved ;)

However, I started off with suspension, Eibachs + Koni FSDs now, Jabbasport rear ARB, strut brace for handling etc.

Then preparing for the bigger power by getting the simple stuff like PD160 air intake, green filter, then metal impeller water pump, Forge FMIC and propane, having sorted out the propane's damage recently I've decided to go derv-only for power for a while at least.

The stage 2 hybrid is on, custom map is underway on standard injectors right now, will see if that hits 200 at the wheels repeatably or not :)

The Quaife & uprated pressure plate/clutch will help put the power down.

Well, first on my list will be handling bits:

Peloquin LSD will be here pdq once I can get the cash

KW V2 suspension will be replacing the FKs

In terms of power: VT5 turbo and manifold will be going on, and hopefully all being well, a custom cam, but that needs more reserach into. The propane is staying on to supply top end fuel on standard injectors.

Also looking into single mass flywheel for better performance on shifting.

General lightening too throughout.

Keeping reliability by installing lots of sensors/gauges, plus coolers and other elements. New air fitration system, alloy breather catch can.

The car should then be how I really want her. Will be nice to not spend any more money on it, and save up for other things in life.

Jason - definitely keep me in the loop on things to do with extra cooling on fuel/oil, I am really keen to get more oil cooling sorted out, so far still no luck finding a good way to achieve the oil side of things, fuel is not that hard to do although it may end up expensive :)

And keep some money in reserve for a new engine / other bits !

Knew I was right about tinkering.

@anonymouse - guess what I'm starting to set up a little saving fund for right now ;)

You must be psychic - or is psychiatrist, must ask him next time.

Nope that's for my car - I've just spent a couple of grand fixing the blasted thing so I have started saving monthly into an e-savings account (for my car ;))

Jason seems to have better & cheaper supplies of bits for his car though, generally :)

Jason, keep it at 260/270 and improve the traction/handling.

I think you already know the answer to this one Jason:

As high as she will possibly go ;)

HTH :D

A pioneer, going where no man has been before.

Fair play to you, and respect. Take it to 250BHP.

You will have the fastest Fabia in town. Maybe the world !

I thought the Pd130/50 maxed out around 260bhp?

You have PM Eddy. :D

One thing I cannot do is bore the engine out. A strict condition of my car insurance is to not alter the engine cc. Everything else is OK though.:thumbup:
