Possible Sale item

I am thinking at this stage to upgrade to the Octavia Vrs and so am thinking of selling my Fabia Vrs. This like others on the site is not standard I have listed all modifications done but from the exterior it does look standard.

I know I could expect around

is should think the dealer will offer you more money for it in standard form, iirc it's becuase they cant offer a warranty on modified cars

You will struggle to get the dealer to take a modified car as they will struggle to sell it on with a warranty. When I tried to sell my modified octy vrs, the skoda dealer didnt want to know because he would not be able sell a warranty on the car.

As Tom has already mentioned it will be worth more returned as close to standard as possible.

Don't tell them, they will look over the car for dents, scratches and curbing.

Check the interior for rips and burns.

They won't take the car out for a drive and the replacement exhaust won't matter a jot.

i'd take as many of the easy to remove bits off as possible , then you can sell them on here , other forum members are always asking for rear ARBs , 312 disc assemblys and PD160 intakes/filters , that should make up any difference in what you want for the car and what they offer for it

i was offered £7k for my March 04 VRS with 40k miles last Sunday

if you do go down the standard route iwould be interested in your leather interior

im lookin to buy one and if i sell my car soon i might be interested.

wats the mpg like wen the fabia is chipped?

Thanks for your interest I will pop some photos of my car up soon.

MPG is currently around mid forties, the exhaust has made a slight reduction but the sound makes up for it. Though this figure is around town and country lanes on the motorway and cruising 50 plus mpg is easily achievable especially with the cruise control in operation.

In the colder weather the mpg has dropped but the remap did not make any difference at all in fact it improved matters because of the extra torque that is available.

The remap in question was done by James at JBS and the map is a Custom Code Stage 1. However with the exhaust and intake and green cotton filter I believe that a stage 2 map can be put on, something which I am not really bothered about.
