He's gone, forced by Skoda UK to stop posting. However, there's an excellent technical base still being provided for on Briskoda by other members. :)

Agreed, we may have "lost" Ross, but there are still some very knowledgeable people on the site ;)

I concur! :thumbup::)

If the talks with SUK marketing progress well, there's always the slight chance that we might get Ross back on board. I'll certainly keep my fingers crossed......

Hurrah on that note

Why should they stop him posting surley if hes helping other people with the product whats the harm in that.

Skoda aren't getting their money for repairing cars now are they? ;)

But on the other foot, Ross also saved a lot of people from the hassle of going back for warranty work, when it was something that could easily be done DIY. :) I'm sure Skoda UK have benefitted more from that side of things.

Like I said, Lummox may have gone, but the technical know-how in the forum collective remains. ;)

So basically working for a Main Dealer stops you posting.

Stops you posting if they find out who you are it appears. Had other techies come through. Lummox was just unfortunate Skoda UK traced him to a dealership. It seems to give advice on here, it pays to retain anonymity. :)

Didn't he claim his 'uman rights" then? If he had been a mugger he would have sued them by now.

doesnt he work for skoda then now

Why all the questions? He's in touch with various briskodians I imagine, as he had many friends when he was on here which I bet he'd wish to continue.

If you have a question regarding the New Octavia, stick it in this forum, and I'm sure some good help will be forthcoming.

Ross/Lummox will be back shortly.

He has handed his notice in at the Skoda dealer he is at now and is leaving the brand.

So i heard.

He may not be here in person but his spirit certainly lives on ;)

Is Mr. Webb SUK having a bit of a snoop  by all the questions.

Maybe hes here already under a new name ;)

Well you just never know who's reading do you. :P

Judging by past posts, Mr Webb appears to be a bit of a mechanic/techie himself.

Funnily enough I have spotted him somewhere - recently :orb_wave:

Welcome Back !

Lummox has been a great help to everyone in the past (including myself) and it was a great loss when he stopped using this site.
