I seem to have broken the ashtray clip that holds the lid closed now the lid won't stay shut, any idea how to fix it :confused: Or it it worth booking it in for a repair

I assume you want a better solution than a blob of blu-tac?

In warranty? Get em to change it, not your fault its an inferior design

Agreed. On my Mk 1 the clip holding up the driver's sun visor broke. Replaced under warranty, no quibble.
