Rallying in Blackpool this weekend

Featured Replies

This weekend sees the return of the Northwest Stages Rally to Blackpool.

There are spectator stages on the prom and at Pontins and further information for spectators is at North West Stages Rally 2007 | Spectator Guide

I'm not competing but will be out running the chase car for car 21.

Cool

I've just booked some pleasure land tickets last night.

Coo. Off to Blackpool tomorrow anyway. Will have to stop in on some of this.

I'm not there this year (was last year), keep a look out for a Red Fiesta RS - that's my mate's car. :D Car 30-something.

If its not p*ssing down im gonna go down for a bit later on. Mate... of a mate at work is competing!

We had a good event in the end (was doing management car for car 21).

We finished 14th overall despite having a stage maximum on stage three due to the ECU screwing the water injection up and stalling the engine.

I hope the crew of the car that had the big accident at Clitfton soon recover from their broken bones.

some more pics - at Clifton Marsh this time :)

The Sierra had a bit of an argument with the gate post by the finish..... driver had to be cut out and both he and his co-pilot were taken to hospital. Co-driver was released later the same day.. driver escaped with 'just' a broken leg.... I think he was lucky when you see the state of the car!
