How do I tell the difference between a 90, 110 and a PD130? I have no idea!

90 has TDI badge on boot and is not available in Elegance trim

110 has TDI badge and is only in Elegance trim or 4x4

130 has TDI badge and 6 gears in Elegance or L&K

So any Classic, Comfort and Ambiente would be a 90, regardless of age?

Comort not available in Octavia.

Classic could be an SDi, although the ones they are still building are have a different engine again

Although some Ambiente SE have 110. very confusing!

Try looking in the boot near the spare wheel the sticker shows the power in KW
