Another use for the KFC hand wipe.

Featured Replies

Got bored the other day waiting for someone, and noticed that arm rest part of the door trim was looking brown rather than silver. Attacked it with the first thing I could find, a couple of mc'd and KFC hand wipes. Did quite well after two worn out wipes. Cheap and quick way to get those last few bits you frogot to do when you cleaned the whole car.

KFC....... finger lickin' good!

i have used these wipes for all sorts in the past including first aid :)

they are just sanitised cleansing wipes at the end of the day :)

Another excellent use for them is cleaning up the horrid sticky residue you get from putting a greasy megabucket on your trousers

Surely you would have dealt with your trousers before butting said bucket down, or were you in a bit of a rush.

Additionally would it not have made sense to just utilise your hand on said greasy megabucket and then use the fingers on your other hand and your mouth to dispatch with the contents:rofl:

So what are they First Thing................ ....:)

i've always found that baby wipes are brilliant at getting flies off the front of the car in the summer, even tescos budget 40p ones do the trick.

The wipes do a good job of cleaning the dash without leaving it horrible and shiny too!

Don't think you know who some of those comments relate to do you MissKia?

I don't understand what your doing with the KFC wipes, is there a video demonstration anywhere???

I do hear of one but no idea of it's authenticity, and don't want to confirm it exists visually either.

all this talk of cleaning makes me want to rush outside and get out the polish. anyhow, i see a lot of recommendation for ambersil, but will this be enough to remove the coffee and coke stains from my white bits on the seats, or can aybody suggest a better way? i tried using some vax stuff but its just left tide marks everywhere

I have carried packs of Babywipes on both my car and van for ages now.. they have so many uses :) brilliant too for summerdays when your sweating profusely and your hands and manky :)to both clean your hands , AND wipe your sweaty brow :)

Along the lines of "It's seven o'clock, and I'm Anne-Marie Minhall" - thinks I, "so who are you the rest of the time ..."

or as Barry Took and Willy Rushton used to day "what does occasional furniture do, the rest of the time?"

:D

baby wipes make excellent poo wipes, much better on the bottom :)

Damn right..

I find they work better as a "final wipe". We use Asda's own brand luxury bog roll, followed by their own brand baby wipes for the full bottom wipe solution. :)

Love how this turned into a toilet thread...

sorry if we got a bit potty mouthed

Tinky Winky, Dipsy Lala, PO

i usually use KFC wipes to clean my wing mirrors :)
