From Skoda, anyone care to comment

Featured Replies

This is from the Skoda web site, aparently 98% of us are fantastically happy with Skoda & want to share our joy with the world

whole wide

koda UK - Home Page

A coule of years I would have been one of the 98% but things are a changing

im still part of the 98% but thats only as ive never had them service my car (from new) and only had to return it to them once for warranty work (door seals)

I'd recommend looking at them, but I'd not say to definately buy one. There again, I'd also say to look at PSA, Ford and Honda, depending on exact requirements.

I will be buying another... but only because of 'certain' personal circumstances, I nearly changed marques when they refused to repair my suspension under warranty..... I will complain about the offending part from day one with the new car... make records and have it replaced at 50k..... I am NOT happy with skoda customer services at ALL... however, i still love the car :)

Wonder if they have the figures to back that up, otherwise that would be false advertising ;)

Blimey. I didn't realise that 98% of car's on the road were Skoda's.

It's a lottery. I guess if you have a hassle free car. then you'll be very happy as you got a nice car at a relatively cheap price. If you don't get a good car, and have to deal with Scumbag UK then you'll probably be rather unhappy. As I've received a letter in which SUK blatantly lied to me, then I am of the opinion that SUK are akin to a ministry of misinformation so wouldn't believe a word of it.
