Fabia dashboard switches

Featured Replies

Re the line of switches (and blanks) above the stereo, in my vrS only two are used, for traction control and heated rear screen. But there is something like 4 blank switches.

My two questions are

1. What factory fitted features replace these blanks? I am guessing at maybe heated seats? But is there really a need for them all?

2. What have forum members used the blanks for?

The spaces where blanks were now contain LPG led gauge and a switch for some extra lights. :)

Heated Seats (Both Sides), Rear Window Heater, ESP Off, ASR Off,

I don't know the other one

I found that by removing one of the blanks, the fixing bit on the end of a mobile phone holster (for 99p out the Orange shop on special offer) fitted perfectly into the gap. Heated seats are on the end two, and the traction control & heated screen take two up.

Heated seats left & right

ESP on/off toggle switch

heated rear window

passenger airbag off LED

My parrot CK3100 display is fitted to a blank, which will allow me to easily & cheaply remove it without a trace :)

This is from memory as I've not been driving my car for a bit, hoping to get that changed soon :D

Have used two blanks, one for input of external player to the stereo and the other one for the frontal park distance controller...yes, I'm a cautious one :o

In these pics there's a 3rd button blank. The 4th is the Airbag.

Do the models with ESP have the ASR button too?

13647.attach

13648.attach

No ASR or ESP.

No, i have an ESP button instead of an ASR button.......

So we have 2xheated seats buttons..... ESP/ASR button, Rear demister button & passenger air-bag button...... That just leaves one left...... Is there an 'Official' Skoda use for that button then?????

Cheers

Dave.

It has been left there for modders to do what they like with. Mine triggers my Antagonising Sound Resonator (aka Klaxon).
