Yes you can, but don't expect the changer to work, because it won't ;)

Sorry, but the answer is no - different ICE maunfacturers use different connections which would make virtually impossible to connect the two together without some fancy electrical interface.

Tripled... No is and will remain the answer unfortunately.

I expect it would be no more than a weekend project for someone with a protocol analyzer and PIC burner. I haven't looked into it yet, but if the electrical interface on both ends isn't much more complicated than a low speed (clocked?) serial line then it would be possible to blow a chip, with driver components on veroboard for

Geoff, looked like a box of tricks which sat between the standard loom and plugged into the Sony HU BusAudio socket
