I have just fitted a set of Yokohama AVS Sport (225/45/17) to my Octy RS. No change from 500 quid i might add either. Is anyone else running these tyres? what are your thoughs? So far, they are the best tyre i have ever used in the dry and the wet, highly recommended.

Is there a Cumbrian/Northern meet any time in March?

I've used them. Found them good, up to a point. Good initial turn in but at high speed had a tendency to wash out part way through bends. Nice soft rubber, very good in the dry (subject to the aforementioned wash out) wasn't so keen in the wet. Good for the price I paid for that size (
