Regardless, the one-click needs reflashing - they are coded per car...

Picked mine up to day, done 250 miles in it already, and god its absolutely brilliant!!!! I really cant fault it.

The only downer so far is picking up a razor blade in the tyre... :(

Mines got the 6 speed, I seem to remember it had a very short stroke on it between the gears.

Like I said, the gear change in the Passat (6 speed) seems quite short, which I like.

Yes,

For example if you were to mount the Fabia gearbox in the Passat the driveshafts would be pointing out under the bumpers.

It comes from two LED's in the rear view mirror. I didn't know Passats had this.

Mine doesn't - and it was only standard on the W12 IIRC, so it must have been added by a previous owner... no bad thing though!
