As VRStu says, thanks Amanda, nice one. I love my F1 too. Always have done. Guess I'll be watching the first race live as well. Can't usually wait for the re-runs lol. I think this could turn out to be an interesting season with a bit of luck.

I went to Silverstone once a few years ago but, to be honest, for the price of just race day there you can get a full weekend at some of the other European ones. Throw in cheapish accommodation and Easyjet flights and you can have a 4-5 day trip and see everything. I've been to the Spanish GP at the Catalunya circuit twice now and love it. Toying with Spa later this year.

Sounds like you have the bug bad Geoff if I forget, can someone give this thread a bump on Thursday or Friday just in case there are a few F1 fans who might be interested.

Looking at pre season testing Ferrari seem to have the upper hand, im sure Mclaren, Renault will soon catch up.

It will be intresting to see if BMW's pace in testing will translate into race pace. Toyota and Honda will be miles off, how much money can these teams throw at F1, before senior management pull the plug????

Its going to be one of the most excitng seasons ever, no one driver is head and shoulders above the rest......possibly Alonso...but hey he's in a Mclaren.....Massa for the Title.

I've heard that Bridgestone nixed that, cos the prime for one round might be the alternate for the next. Of course the answer to that, given that they've only made 5 compounds for the season, would be to have say Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue from hardest to softest?

More positively, Lewis finished up 3rd in the timesheets! I don't support Macca, but do sometimes support their drivers (actually, that applies to pretty much any F1 team without a "Minardi" in their name).
