IIRC there were a few people on about them here before, FYI the Rally Car Collection are running a model of it in the next Issue, No. 58 1966 Monte Carlo one in Blue

Lovely motors albeit the gear box was designed for long cruising and was not much use around town. Coloumn change was a bit woolly & Hill starts could be interesting with the handbrake configuration. But oh such a lovely ride! and once wound up great travel.

Was one of first with swivel headlights - now just re-invented as the best thing since the toaster by a car manufacturer.

IIRc 'DS' stood for Deyesse, the French for Goddess, and quite rightly so.

My dads mate had an absolute minter, better than new, but someone made him a silly offer for it ( in excess of £10k 10 years ago )
