What alloys would you recommend fitting to the octavia?

Up to individual preference. Some emphasis on design, some want light weight, some like 5 strokes, some like many many strokes.

Personal choice, things you should remember though :-

Make sure the offsets are correct & that even when the offsets are correct that the spokes will clear the brakes. This is especially critical if you intend to run bigger brakes in the future.

Seriously consider buying a set of 5 (includes spare) Essential if you change the diameter to fit bigger brakes

Spend some money on good tyres as well, some of the wheels that look cheap in special offers dont neccesarily have the best of tyres.

Generally alloys are weaker than steel wheels so the thin spoked variety can easily be knocked out of shape, I know as I managed to knock 2 of mine a tadge closer to Oval although I would add that I was travelling at insane speeds at the time.

Another point is that a lot of the wheels off other VAG cars will fit so if you see something you like you may be able to get a s/hand set.

ikinda like the rs6 alloys

TT 6 spokes seem to be optimim for handling

8x17 with 225-45 ET 30 makes the track wider... and they sit well in the arches.. plenty of scope for lowering..

but 18" RS6 do look nice.

think that what im going for, RS6 and probably KW2

Would probably look good on a silver SDI with standard suspension as well

Yeah but 'budget' tyres mean you are probably downgrading your handling :(

I quite like the RS4 Alloys myself

I had 18" RS4's on my Octy RS and they looked stunning

I quite fancy these on my Furby;

If only they did a 17" version of the L&K alloy :(
