Why do people still think skodas are naff cars,im over the moon with my vrs but you still get the odd person who thinks they have an ego issue with them,

They aren't the best but they are by no means the worst.

No-one thinks they're naff anymore, they just can't get past the budget brand. How many people would wear a t-shirt with "Matalan" or "Primark" emblazoned boldly across the front? They'll buy stuff from there as the quality is fine, but they won't want to advertise the fact. With a car, you can't hide the brand.

everyone makes nice and nasty cars - the low-end Skodas are miles away from the vRS for example - the Ford Sierra was a horrid thing in the main, but Cosworth however , soo different they may as well have been different cars.

It's unfortunately got everything to do with the "perception" of the brand rather than any rational knowledge of the individual model.

I had a Skoda Estelle years ago, it was a trully horrible car, but served a purpose at the time how things have changed..

Be interesting to see how Mr Ramone (yes really)(who probably shows a VW logo if how section him horizontally) reacts to my Samantha, who he doesn't know I have; the last time I saw him I was driving a Citroen.
