Fabia Wheel bolt caps

Featured Replies

I know this is trivial (get a life and all that), but:

My wife's new Fabia 100bhp tdi Elegance was missing the alloy wheel bolt plastic caps when it was delivered. The dealer has, at last, 'found' a set. However they are silver grey plastic and have a special extractor (not the same as supplied in the car 'tool kit'). I thought that the correct caps were black plastic and suspect that these caps have been 'lifted' from somewhere.

Could someone please let me know what caps are fitted to their Fabia Elegance?

Thanks

Black caps. IMHO they have been nicked from something.

the silver ones are fitted to at least the octavia vrs.

Silver ones that look a lot like Colin's (except the colour, obviously) are fitted to all Octavia alloys.

The caps on my L&K are black, not silver, and I've lost one from my OSF wheel :(. Are they only available as a complete set?

edit: Mine look just like Colin's!

Because your car doesn't have any caps on at all!
Doh! So Colin's pic was of his caps, not the bolts.

LOL, I was getting confused reading your post there! Yep my pic is of the wheel caps not the nuts.

I can't even remember seeing my wheel nuts, the only time the caps were removed (and there difficult to remove) was when the dealer was proving it had locking nuts at delivery.
