i also have a fto gpx mivec same spec invecs ii gearbox is good but even brand new it didn't put out 200 bhp most western performance has ever seen out of one is185 auto box saps big power i have recently driven a manual and it was like a different car . I don't know how old you are but i am 29 with 15 points on my licience and mine is 590 quid fully comp through ensign, as my brother said be very careful in the wet as they are a handful. Cracking car though you will have lots of fun just make sure you have shares in shell v power cause they sup some juice .

yea completly, absolutley no point in tuning the engine unless you have big money and go down the supercharger route, mpg sounds similar untill your right foot goes down i wanted to tune it originaly untill it was costed out in the end i bought a skyline to play with, tuning that was far cheaper than the fto especialy as i imported it allready tuned. Fto's are possibly the most fun you can have in a fwd car and a couple of suspension tweaks a polybush set and strut brace very little keeps up on the twisty's and you won't have broken the bank avoid coilovers though unless you do a lot of trackdays or have a second car. Glad you are enjoying it.

The other day I was outside my house and I heard this loud, but nice noise and couldn't decide if it was a car or a bike razzing around. Saw it pass the end of my road and it was an FTO :eek:
