Anyone/EVERYONE up for a pre-meet convoy from Gordano Services?. There will be a few of us in convoy coming along the M4 but it would be good to meet up with the rest of you for a coffee and a bacon butty at say 9:30am?.

There's usually one from Exeter too, but I will be making my own way up after going a bit earlier and stopping off in Bridgwater first.

On the plus side - it's easy to see with eyes semi-closed

0745 is not THAT early, I'm usually at work at 0700 :P to avoid those nasty roadworks and traffic jams etc.

Just in case someone drives along these routes:

A34 has roadworks ongoing on and off, generally they appear to be doing most of it during the late evening/night but you never know, it's a weekend :P

A34/M4 roundabout at Chievely has work ongoing with the flyover and it can be tied down to a single lane going round 'underneath' it. If as per this morning there is an accident this can cause MASSIVE delays. Most of the time it's perfectly fine though

A329(M) from Reading direction towards a little past the junction, and also in opposite direction, has 50 mph average speed cameras on them. And yes they are likely to be on.

A329(M) itself has roadworks ongoing at the bit just before Twin Bridges roundabout, squeezing far too much traffic in the inside lane only as stuff is being done to the central reservation. Took me 30 minutes to escape that section at a time where normally it takes about 5 minutes :eek:
