went to the scrapyard today and got a few little connectors so i can make up a wotsit for the wideband lambda reader when it arrives

the exhaust is still not on because the mounting rubbers were shot, so i have to wait till they arrive before i can re-fit it:)

my latest project;) purchased from the tip as a non runner for a fiver..... now running :D might get 50 notes for it on ebay methinks

erm not yet no, i'm kinda concentrating on getting the engine running properly before i do anything else... i have made a few measurements of the oe seat rails and i think i'll machine up some pieces of ally bar to fit

What is it? A manometer?

Does it light up or something (everything else from Halfords seems to... ;):D )

it's a carb balancer, it's kinda got like a little float that rises up awith the vacuum, you get a reading from the master pair, then stick it in the slave pair and adjust the balance screw till they it has the same reading

it's running a bit lean on the over-run so i'm getting flames from the exhaust on the over-run at the moment:O

not nice:O i'll end up melting the exhuast valves if i carry on like that, or end up busting the brand new lambda probe
