Stoner - I wasn't even flat out...

Featured Replies

Stoner set the fastest lap on the last lap- which kinda backs up his statement. The Ducati was set up for top end speed at Qatar, no doubt about that.

The Yamaha seemed to be more stable on the brakes & thro' the corners.

I've said it before - it's gonna be a interesting season!

I agree totally; I just thought that some people might appreciate having their attention drawn to a piece they'd not normally read.

Interesting but if I was him I would have kept my mouth shut until a bit later in the season when there is better evidence of development of all bikes, pace on all tracks and consistency of riders. I know he isn't stating he is going to win everything this season but his comments do tend to sound that way :P Anyway I still recall his record of crashing last year and am still to be convinced it ... but I guess as an Aussie he isn't exactly lacking in self belief :D

I only managed to remember in time to catch the last half of the race :o but despite the undeniable straight-line speed advantage of the Ducati:eek: Stoner didn't really seem to be getting away from Rossi - when they displayed the throttle/brake data on screen, Rossi was on the brakes noticably later and back on the throttle sooner than Stoner...can only agree that it's gonna be a interesting season

I though that this thread was going to be about a high boy racer by the title :( whoops
