Ferodo suppliers

I just got of the phone to Kevin from Sejoc and they don't do Ferodo's?!?! Just EBC he told me. Then he recommended I contact some company near Silverstone/Towster of which he had no phone number and I didn't quite catch the name of.

So I guess its DT only now who supplies the DS2500s?

Cheers.

The short answer is Slikolene Pro Race 2000, the long answer will have to wait for a PM - the DNS servers work use are not updated, and things are a bit flakey at the mo.

I had read that advice before, but it didn't stick. Fortunately I'm not in a hurry on the pads as the old ones still have plenty left, so I don't really mind waiting for it... in fact, it will be less suspicious towards SWMBO as well ;)

And what did the postie surprise my darling other half with this morning? New brakes, with plenty of time to get them bedded in for the trackday :D

Now if I could only get that ABD TIP as well...

So are you going to have a go at fitting them yourself?

I got a link which gives step by step instructions.

You can borrow the winding tool if you like......once Nick's finished with it.

p.s if you decide to do it yourself can I come and watch and take pics? ;)

What do you think?!?!? I didn't even fit the DV myself, let alone know how to get the wheels off ;)

Besides, the brake fluid is going to be replaced at the same time so I'll leave it to the professionals.

Having just (ok, a few hours ago) unpacked my goodies, I notice that the front pads didnt quite survive the handling of either the postie, or the guy working in the warehouse. Can anyone who has these tell me:

1) Does it need (or come) with screws?

2) On the back of the pad are some metal thingies... are they vital? One of them is bent and I'm not sure what they are?

3) In between the 2 halves of the pads is a groove. It seems that something sharp (probably the metal thingies mentioned in 2) removed some pad material... is this going to affect them?

Q.
