I was there last week for the same clutch. Transformed the drive, and they also fixed a couple of creaks from the suspension at the same time!

They do a great job  Luke took me out for a quick spin in his fabia vrs.... about 420lb/ft torque.... or was it 480..... anyway, it was quite nippy :D If ya looking lads, thanks for a job well done!!!

Yup, I love my sachs clutch too :D I also added the uprated pressure plate (which costs more than the clutch  ) but no regrets. In my current state of tune, there's still no slippage :D

PMSL @ quite nippy... Luke's vRS is just plain rude! :D

Yeah... friction & presure plate along with the release bearing and slave cylinder!

Seems to have a shorter biting range than tghe standard clutch, quite high up on the pedal..... that could just be me though!!!

The other thing I noticed is after the tweak with the remap, you need to be nearer or on 2500 rpm before you really give it some but it seems to still pull hard beyond 4000rpm :D

Well..... now you come to mention it :D

Sachs organic clutch gets my vote too

I am very disappointed that more people haven't taken advantage of the GB for the uprated clutch!

Anyway, I hope I will have mine fitted soon.

Just received my Sachs paddle clutch today, should be a bit more hardcore than an organic one, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Being fitted Friday so I'll report back after a run down to TSR on Saturday.

No it's not just you - mine's the same.

You get used to it pretty quickly though, and once you're used to it, it's very much liveable with :D

hi. could anyone tell me how much the sachs uprated clutch kit is?

does the pressure need to be bought aswell?

also will it last longer than the standard sachs clutch. thanks.

I ordered my stuff from APS. Speak to Paul there, he's extremely helpful and gave me a few different options based on cost and performance - APS - VW Audi vehicle servicing and performance tuning

The whole lot plus labour was about 715..... they also tweak my custom map for nowt and the difference that made was worth a good chunk of that alone :D:thumbup:

Cheers..... thought I was right :) but good to hear I'm not the only one :D

Most of the time I don't have any issues with the difference, the only time it catches me out is when pulling away in 1st gear..... not catching it right and slipping it a little :o
