Hi,

New to the forum and just bought a mkII Octavia VRS in Sprint Yellow (yes I do want to stick out) :)

Extras I got

18" alloys

Cruise control

Curtain Airbags

Dual zone Climate control / Jumbo pack

Front and Rear parking sensors

Xenons

Maxi Dot

Can't wait to pick it up!

I applaud your bold statement! No danger of having an understated vRS there:)

Good Spec and BOLD colour; you have more 'bottle' than me (I opted for Red).

Well done.

I'm liking it but not sure I would be brave enough to deviate from my usual choice of black...!

Mmm, now that does look nice :D

Nice choice, ebjoy!:D

Very nice spec and not too many of that colour around.

Colour does look good, enjoy your car.

Welcome to briskoda.

My favourite colour for the vRS.

Nice car.

I know someone that may be taking the plunge and getting a yellow one (I keep nudging him to do it :D ).

Good choice

And green brake callipers???

My favourite colour for the vRS.

Nice car.

So how come you've got a red one?

And green brake callipers???

Probably 2006 spec car.

Robnemma didn't say it was a 'brand new' car just 'new', I assume, to them - that's how come its photo'd and they can't wait to pick it up.

Wish there were more yellow/red vRSs around instead of boring black & blue!

Yes it is a used one 4000 miles on the clock. It didn't want to pay the "as soon as you drive it off the forecourt" depreciation of a new one, and IMHO the green calipers go with the car better.

Next job is to get the ICE done, nothing too "Maxpower" just new headunit, door speakers and maybe an amp.

When all thats done it'll be revo time!

I have been driving an Audi A4 1.8T sport, so it almost feels like i'm keeping it in the family.

Welcome to Briskoda mate.

Well yellow wouldn't be my first choice....I got black!

However, this is a real statement and will certainly get lots of attention. From the picture, I'd say it will be all positive and there is a rarity factor too. Plus It's odd but I eas sitting in a Pizza Hut on Saturday and found myself admiring an orange Audi S3. Some how the bolder colours just seem to look good on sporty motors at the mo!

Yellow really does look the dogs, just finnished waxing the furball and sooooo pleased I "dared to be different"

So how come you've got a red one?

1 Yellow wasn't available at the time

2 I don't have the guts

PS I still love the red

much respect to you for being different and opting for the yellow. they had a yellow one on display inside the showroom at the dealer when I bought my silver Octy II vRS - it looked v good (but far too bold for me).

by the way - pls report back how you get on with your ICE upgrades/what you choose. I have stuck with the standard Steam unit till now but am planning to upgrade to new headunit as soon as I can raise the spare cash as the Stream unit sound/weak internal amp is pretty hopeless.

I thought it was so you could spot it in a car park :P

Nice looking car mate :)

Finally, a decent picture of a yellow one !

When my current (yellow) Mk1 finally goes, thats the colour I will be after :)
