Toms 2003 Passat Estate...

Featured Replies

Here's a bit about my car.

2003 Passat Estate, SE PD130. 113k miles, full history etc. It looks to really have been cherished by its previous owner! :)

Full SE spec, 15" alloys, climatronic climate control, leather steering wheel, 6 CD changer, centre arm rest, half maxi-dot...

Only mod so far is the fitting of cruise control :) , oh and the removal of the (poorly fitted) Nokia handsfree kit.

Future plans for the moment are just getting it absolutely mint - so repairing the belly tray fixings, a new back light as one is more faded than the other, replace the engine cover bushes, replace the gear lever gaitor and sort the scuffs out on the rear bumper. After that, a few OEM+ type mods, and maybe some 18's and a subtle drop. :)

Hope you like, I've never seen another white B5.5 estate!

Looks nice Tom, just need some bigger wheels.

Looking tidy  - have you taken that dog guard down yet though?!

Can you not attach the pics directly to the post?

Dont think that is possible in members cars...

nice car btw, bet its a lovely cruiser :)

Looks very tidy, I like it in white :D

A nice leather interior would be good ;)

Looks the same as my dads, not sure what model he has, i know its a special release model with the 130 BHP PD.

Thats coming up for sale in Sept, 54 plate, 65K on it at the mo. £6,500 Guestimate.

Mmmmmmmmmmm, got me thinking.

its very WHITE Tom , :D

will you be keeping it more than a few months ?:P

Looks mint! Stick some 20's on it :D

Yep, you're quite right, had forgotten about that. At least we can use smilies in here now though :D

You could attach the images to the post though, so they get uploaded to Brisky server space. I know that worked for my Ibiza thread in here...

Well, I've uploaded the photos now. :)

Its back from the bodyshop :woot: , bumper looks great now, as does the scuff on the front wheel arch. Well chuffed.

Only problem now is the 6" crack thats appeared on the windscreen - thanks for jinxing me Stu!!! :( ;)

Looks great. Bit worried about your fuel consumption though ;)

 I knew somebody would pick up on that! I'd only moved it about 10m across the car park....

A couple more for good measure...

The second to last one shows the damage, pre-bodyshop. An after to follow later. :) And the last shows the back end, but notice the difference in the "brightness" of the rear light clusters :o :(

Is it as I was talking about on Saturday?? If it is then it may be worth a call to the dealers and some googling because I think it is a known issue.

Ah, good spot. That photo it has been lowered in Photoshop, but it will look like that in the new year!!

Thanks for the comments!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one to anybody, I love mine to bits. As many people will confirm, its very unlike me to keep a car for more than a couple of months... this is my 15th car in 5 years!!!

So you put them on and then photoshopped it.........they don't look have bad on there now do they.........happy?

Had that steering wheel on my Bora and loved it, wish I still had it on the Superb!!

  • Author

Very happy!!! Its just the OEM+ look I'm after. :) Cheers Mr Baker!

I simply put the wrong photo, there is the same photo but standard height on another thread!

Just a wee update.

Patsy now has footwell illumination from a Superb - cheers Baker for the light units, and VRStu for the wiring diagrams.

I'd love to show some pictures, but I can't get any photos that show the illumination at all. :(
