Octavia Faulting Locking

Featured Replies

I have a Octavia 1.9TDI 110 W reg, can any one please help me with a problem with the central locking?

The doors all lock with one press of the keyfob, but you have to press the keyfob several times for the deadlocks to activate.

Also once in the car if you press the locking button on the drivers door control unit, all the door lock buttons drop, but the Near Side Front & Off Side Rear buttons pop back up, the other doors remain locked.:(

Thanks

Dave..

hi. and welcome. post this on " ask a tech" more helpful there.

Don't think he can ED - don't you need to be a Freedom member?

Try doing a search for "octavia" + "central locking" - that should throw up enough information to write a book.

It sounds like you have a central convenience/ locking fault, which if you go to a VAG mechanic/ someone with VAG Com software, they should be able to point to what the exact problem is.

 have i given false info? it's in octavia sect. :D sorted.
