powertec induction kit for the vrs ? does anyone have this. whats the opinions

or is the K&N one better ?

I looked at these, but the main boast there is the sound, I wanted performance and reliability first.

I have the K&N fitted, dab the excess oil off, and your set. Have had a K&N before served me very well, actually swapped it between three different cars over the years.

Sounds great under the bonnet. Have just added one of the fleabay CAI pipes so it has moved to under the headlight, doesn't sound as good though hope to see the benefits in the summer. if you do get one, take a stanley blade and gently shave the inside lip of the part that fits onto the maf, it is a v tight fit even then.

Steel mesh? Not good for filtration....
