Who's driven their Furby the most?

Featured Replies

My Furby (06 Vrs WITH Stutter!) has just finished it's first year of service. I've managed to enjoy the car for 52000 miles. I was wondering, has anyone done any more in a Furby in a year?

Only problems have been heater flappy bits, Stutter and 2 blown bulbs! 9/10 for reliability.

Not Close but I've done just shy of 17k in mine in 6 months, a trip to france next week will put that up to 18k...

No major problems in that time....

picked my vrs up at the begining of january. it had 20k on clock, its now got 34k on it.

had so many problems ive lost count. been back to the dealer about 15 times since buying. :thumbdwn:

Picked up mine mid January. Put 4k on it since then and it's been back to the dealer lots too.....heater flaps (nightmare that turned into), leaking doors (twice) knocking front suspension, mooing rear brakes and a rusty boot weld.

But....touchwood it's been fine since having all that sorted. I am a picky swine and everything has to be perfect. :D

EDIT - Holy sheet John, you've put 14k on yours since Jan? How the hell'd you manage that? Halfrauds is only down the road. :D

30k since September '05 and not one problem!

27k Since May 06.

No major problems although a few bulbs have blown.

just got me new black one last thursday had 18k on managed to put 700 miles on it in 3days hahahah

and before that bought a silver one on 24k in august and put 6k upto last week not bad i think

40k since May 2005, and apart from the rear doors leaking, which I still haven't got fixed, I have had no problems with the car - except a couple of turbo's. First one squealed, second one has a rather large hole in it and bits missing, but never mind. Everything else has been spot on with it.

Bet I`ve driven mine the least

bought in May 2005 with 3333 on the clock ( ex demo )

just had the 20000 / 2 year service done 11470 on the clock :o

63k since Oct '05...bought new.

Only issue has been broken radiator  Spotted the day before major service (low cooling light went on) and 2 front wheel bearings at approx. 25k.

Had car mapped for the last 20k miles, no issues whatsoever  . (except tyre wear :D:rofl: )

Bought mine in May 2006 with 3000 miles on the clock. Now up to 13400 with only minor problems.

63k since Oct '05...bought new.

Same here!

Has yours seemed to get more noisy and diesel sounding with age? Mine may have, or maybe I am just tuned into the way it sounds now.

Chris

doing 50k a year now... up to 75,600 miles now... no current issues with the car, running fine, '05 model with no stutter ;)

EDIT - Holy sheet John, you've put 14k on yours since Jan? How the hell'd you manage that? Halfrauds is only down the road. :D

i only go there 3 times a week tho:thumbup:, i also go to uni in sheffield. so there and back everyday and the miles add up.

Plus trips to the dealer add up when its a 60 mile round trip and i have been at least 15 times.

Then there was scotland 1500 miles in 3 days

You going for the leather then chrispy? been thinking of it myself cos the white seats are getting to me.

we need a mini group buy:thumbup:

john

i've done about 65k in mine in a year...... i wish i'd got a tdi one now

61k on 05 plates, should have been another 10k but had some issues ;)

Dropping on the miles again though at the moment :D

I am a picky swine and everything has to be perfect. :D

Dead right - you paid good money (don't mean over the top as I've no idea what you paid etc) - you should have a good car.

Dec 13 06 bought - only put around 3k on it.

Got mine new in sept 04 and have done 44,500 miles.

No major problems to report, just the window switch for the drivers door.

Can't get rid of the wheel wobble though, been in 4 times now. may take it back to the dealers for them to look at when they service it next.
