Exhaust Modification

Featured Replies

Just a thought as I can't sleep...

What mod would I have to do to make the car blow smoke rings?

Discuss...

nn xx

 still awake (sorry me bad :( )

Could overfuel it a bit by booting it low down in revs - tends to give nice clouds of smoke :D

proper smoke rings like a cigar could be tricky :D

caster oil is good for creating smoke, cant think of a way off-hand of doing it in rings tho

You need a Gandalf exhaust - no, he blows the ship

It's Bilbo that blows the rings, that the ship slips thru

That's the affect I was hoping for...

I am trying to be a bit more sophisticated...

If I only fitted one head lamp guard, would my it look like my car had a monicle?

I can already make smoke... I want smoke rings :D !!

then all you'd need to finish it off is tartan wheels

You could do a brow (sp?) on the other side perhaps :D

Just kicked up google to have a look if there is anything about, this one is kinda fun to investigate. BUT gonna drop food in microwave first :P

For insurance purposes would it be a performance or cosmetic mod?

Cosmetic.

The creation of rings of smoke will bring no performance benefit.

Urm - not a clue :D

What does a flamer kit fall under, think it might just be classed as an after-market exhaust or summit :D

You could use a jet engine instead, this is a tad of a crazy option but it would make the car accelerate :o

I reckon if you had a rotating disc to collect the soot from the center and drop it into a circle shape by closing a valve at the back, it might even work :D

Thinking of something where you'd have two rings.

One is outside, then gap of say 3-4 mm, then second ring. Then have a flap that can cover the hole in the middle when you want to have a ring. You'd get a very small gap as the valve would be coming in from the side I suppose.

It would probably cause a fair bit of backpressure but force the soot out in the gap between the two rings, might just do it

You'll be needing the "Ivor the engine" mod, mind....

Ch-ta-cuf, ch-ta-cuf, ch-ta-cuf etc....

It's a diesel, it should be taka-taka-taka (Mill ed ) ;):D

I think WW has nailed the principle.

 - I sure did something, no idea whether it was of any use though :o;)

Smoke rings ... I don't know, but flames from a diesel ..........

CLICKY

Not surprisingly there is a recall on :D :D :D

Clickety Click

BTW, that truck is standard

"If heat is detected, the s/w will power down the truck, so that the driver can pull over" - is it just me, or does this sound potentially more dangerous than the fault?
