Calling all Octy VRS owners!!!

Featured Replies

Hi all, just thaught i'd let you know, had the Octy 1 month now.

it can cruise down the motorway or put the toe down and you can leave people in the distance.

Impressed but i'm after some advice on taking it to jabba, how much, what will i get, will there be a big difference??

Cheers All

Nick!

hi nick!

You will get 225 to 230 Bhp (possibly a bit more).

They can, within reason, tailor the map to your requirements (better mid-range, top end etc etc)

It will feel like a new car. You can hammer it up & down country lanes at warp speed, or sit at "70" on a motorway and see upwards of 35 mpg. :)

As Huck said, i dont think there are any unhappy Jabba customers on this site, indeed many of us have gone back for other work as a direct result of the first-class service we get on the re-maps.

Michael is regularly getting 220+bhp from RS' but it's pretty much down to your particular engine at the end of the day although fuel and ambient conditions to play a part.

Difference after remap is like chalk and cheese.....feels like a different car.....trust me on this.

We get a "one of" buy discount of 5% at Jabba or 10% discount for a group buy....which conincidently I have a few places left on for the current one. ;)

If you're interested PM me and I'll post you details.

HTH.

Adrian.

Had jabba do there magic on mine 242 BHP

That's an impressive figure Dave

Do you have any other mods, or did you ask them for as much power as possible?

Mine made 237 Bhp on the rollers, but got de-tuned to 233 for a bit more of a safety margin :)

Geoff i had only replaced airfilter with KN pan and when i was havin map i had exhaust cat-back/Dv30/in car boost controller and also had a tank full of the GOOD stuff (super+) on the 1st run in standard the car was 192 bhp.

Mike did say by havin boost controller he can set the map to run more power and the car had only covered 1500 miles at the time .

Noted with interest! Adrian, am I still the only member interested in a group buy of a Jabba variable boost controller? (Blatant plug for more volunteers...)

PS I must behave myself else Jon and/or Des will start lecturing me about the area below the curve etc etc :(

Nrr, not me.

I am the Modabstainer. One day all Skodas will be mod free, I have a dream.

I'm trying not to, Geoff!

Well, that was a reason for getting the SDI - not exactly the most moddable car on the planet :(
