Blueflame are not too loud, and I find it very hard to see how Snoopies description in words can describe an actual noise???

TrevorB33 had the Milltek system and that was "REALLY LOUD".

Try and hear both on the road before you make your choice.

As for the blue flame exhaust. well lets just say that i followed i well known octy out of a car park very recently on full chat, and the sheer noise of the thing. well lets just say that i crawled out of the car park pretending that i was not with him so that the crowd that had spun round like a bunch praire dogs as he left, was not disappointed with mine!! :o

it had the low down growl of the air filter, a huge whistle as the turbo spun up in a second and then the rumble of the blue flame exhaust. :D

it was awesome to say the least!!!

Who can you be talking about??:D ..:o :O :o :O Did sound good though:P

Was that a custom Milltek system or one like the one I posted with 2 silencers? I dont want it to sound chavvy!

PM Trevor and ask him which one he had, I just know that having followed him it was BL**DY loud.

Nothing fitted with a Blueflame can ever be described as "CHAVVY"...:D

As you live in Liverpool, why not go to Blueflames place at Skelmersdale and have a chat with Nigel???

Hi

We sell the Neuspeed T.I.P`s and we have them on display at the side of an OEM one so you can see the differences

Mmm maybe we need another mini meet here or something , as we have some more nice bits on display here ;)

Sorry

Well sarah im very interested in the Neuspeed t,i,p i think im going for the full blueflame system with 100 cell cat,the only thing im worried about is the noise i dont want it to sound like a plane im 32 with 2 kids:)

http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/vw%20golfmk4/engine.html

That link up there has a pic of the OEM and the Neuspeed T.I.P

So it does show how it will give you extra gains with the air flowing in

We dont deal with Blueflame , just Milltek , but I doubt that it will be too noisy

I think the best thing to do would be to have a sit in and passenger in a car with the blueflame on and listen to it outside too , then you will get to know just what noise to expect

I doubt you will be disapointed ;)

Gerry, I think Trevor did use the Milltek, but changed it for a Magnex....

We await .. Trevor!

Well let me explain, i originally started off with a full milltek turbo back system with the 200cell sports cat, this included the centre silencer, for my personal preference it was really quiet, too quiet for me, if anything it was a tad more noticable then the standard system, but the performance difference was amazing, lots more pull, i had this on a standard car, then i changed the system, i kept the cat, then had a custom system back which was a straight pipe from the cat to a tiny back box, and that was loud, popped and banged etc,

So the dual box Milltek has a tad more noise, sounds just what Im looking for!

Where do you live then?

middlesbrough mate,north east.

Any one local to Bicester J9 M40 you can listen to my 100cel Milltek NON resonated system;)

Phil

Would it matter if the car was remapped first and then the intake pipe added at some point after??

Not really. It would help if once you fitted the TIP, to get the map adjusted to suit.

Have a trip to Skelmersdale (spelling may not be correct) to Blueflame. Really good systems for great prices, they make it too measure ;) Not loud, but very distinctive!

How bearable is that at 80/90 on the motorway?

I want something loud but cant stand the drone when on the motorway

are these easy to fit at home or do you require a ramp / lift to get under the octy.

i havent even seen the turbo yet and ive had the car 3 weeks :-(

Lift the spare wheel out of the boot and you will see it .

Sorry couldn't resist!

T.I.P. is pipe running from air box down to turbo.Look at your air box and you will see it comes back/down towards the back of your engine bay.

They are a b1tch to get at.Will take about an hour or so to do.

Follow the link below for a guide.
