They will fit and probably look ok.

However you will need seriously thin rubber which will really upset the ride. You will also have to contend with the fact they will be a lot heavier which will also have an adverse effect on performance and economy

18" reps on a 1.4 is a really bad idea as they will have a massive negative impact on economy and performance as they will way ALOT. If you really want 18's then get some branded light weight ones but personally I think 17's would be a better compromise.

I don't want 18" in particular, just these happened to be cheap :p

I was after 17" ideally, and in no rush, these just happened to crop up as an option.

OK, since these aren't suitable, I think I'll just stick to the orignal plan, lower, then get wheels later, 2nd hand or otherwise. Ideally, I'd like some OZ Superturismos

17" OZ's would be a far better choice IMHO.

check out the black and red fabias on the alloys archive page, they have those rs4 wheels but in 17's. looks the business, and ample in size:thumbup:

They wont fit a 1.4 very well at all. Ride height too high and they weigh a lot.

Good plan Lowering should come before fitting bigger wheels (or at the same time). Big wheels + standard ride height =

18s will thow you all over the place with bump steer

i wouldnt go over 17s on your car mate
