try harly wax from ebay its great stuff and can be used on the plastic trim outside of the car,its the best stuff ive used.

Nice Esprit! This is one car I've often admired from afar but don't really know much about. It looks f****n fantastic though.

The white esprit has been quite heavily modded.

As standard that type only has 215BHP (4 cyl turbo). It now runs 264BHP at low boost setting and 288BHP at High boost. It's got larger brakes and 6 pot calipers. TBH it flies.

I got the Grey V8 last summer. It is a bit of an animal. In standard trim it has 350BHP but I've added filters and the only silencing is the turbo's and cats. The back box is fake. I would guess it has about 375BHP at the mo. Once it gets the boost control I am expecting 400. This also has upgraded discs and bells as well. You can pretty much spin the wheels in any gear in the we if you try. The grip in the dry is awesome.

As you may guess I absolutely love them!!

I've got the vRS as something fun to have as a daily drive and it certainly doesn't disappoint.

Thanks for the info. I love the body kit on the newer Esprits like the grey one. It's a definite modern classic. I remember seeing my first ever Esprit when I was at school I couldn't believe how low it was. [goes off to Autotrader]

Hmmmm kinda of "lower bumper rip off" position for the car wasn't it ?

That looks a very clean and nice car. I was torn between the silver and the black.

I was very carefull in the positioning of the car to not catch the bumper. Fortunately it was quite level up to that point.

Pittvrs, they are actually not as bad reliability wise as everyone makes out. You have to buy carefully as alot have not been looked after. I think as many people see them as a cheap supercar they don't think they need to spend the money looking after them.

TBH getting something that does 180mph and 0-60 in under 5 secs out of the box isn't bad. Oh and they do corner like they are on rails. Not as nimble as an elise but they are 1300kgs.

It is possible to chip them up to the 500bhp bracket (however the gearbox needs to be looked after).

I am really enjoying the vRS though. The power is really usable on the road. I have no intention of comparing it to the esprit though as they are different classes of car.
