KWP-2000 ecu remapping kit

Featured Replies

I believe these are clones of the original KWP which cost alot more.

never seen it m8 but like a amd one click seems very cheep to me how easy is it to use tho

be very careful with these kits, ie make sure the battery doesnt drop below 12v or you could end up with a useless ecu.

cheap alternative if you can find someone to modifie your files tho.

Hi Man,

Just noticed you posted on the thread a started, just a question for ya if you have the time :)

From what i understand the 90 BHP and 110 BHP are the same setup, just the ECU Mapping is different ? Would i be able to take an ECU Map from a 110 and flash it for my 90 bhp .....

Also, I have 110,000 miles on the clock, everything is running fine and she's well looked after, but is it advisable to go remapping a car this old ?

Thanks,

Keith

Be careful, be very careful.

Be careful, be very careful.

I agree 100% - too easy to do major damage to your engine and/or ecu.

Having watched a custom tuning being performed as well as the testing of the ECU checksums, etc to make sure all is well I would leave it to the pro's.

Of course learning is all about making mistakes, just wouldn't like to be faced with a messed-up ECU and/or engine.

Good luck!

Bas

I am afraid you cant go swapping and changing 90 and 110 tdi files. Also this equipment will only work on these engines from year 2000 onwards.

Best bet is to send a tuner your original file as read from your ECU and have a mod file made for you. DO NOT use any files from the ebay DVD's!

Hi there guys, Being a remapper myself I would not recommend do this sort of thing lightly. If you really want to have a go then thats your call but a good remap costs
