Shall I Upgrade My Dumpvalve

Is it worth changing my dumpvalve to the forge 007 one? my car has been remapped, ive now got a evoms v flow induction kit soon to have bigger t.i.p and think im going to have full turbo back 100cell blueflame so shall i change the dumpvalve i know no bhp is gained by this but will my standard one be ok.....? i think its ok now but someone said that the standard ones are not that good plus its 5 years old..also what spring do i use if i get one....thanks:)

Yep, got home and fitted it, went for a test run and you're right - it is a bit louder. I like the louder turbo woosh. Certainly seemed to pull nicely but it might be in my head. Either way my hacky old filter is gone so I'm happy! :D Thanks again.

I think I upgraded mine for the Bailey, Only upgraded as the standard diaphram split once remapped.

What were the symptoms, lack of power? My standard one appears ok at present.

it split whilst the remap was being carried out.

The standard ones do not live for long once you get the remap done.

I have the Bailey DV30 and cannot fault it.

Had a revo map on a leon cupra, 3 years with standard bosch dump valve no problem. so guess buy one, and if it goes then replace.

Ill keep it for now but keep an eye on it.
