Hoping to get there for the saturday, it was a toss up between the A1GP at Brands or FIA GT my son decided, so be it. Suites me, another opportunity to blat around the countryside went to snetterton last weekend, brilliant fun and the racing was good too. Apologies to the guy in the Mustang on the A11 (you might want to get your suspension checked out):orb_laugh

Q-jr and I went both the Saturday and Sunday and we had a good weekend out... Was expecting a lot more on the merchandising front, but the free fun-fair was a great addition. The sound of the Ford GT's is just something else... :eek:

Have to say the noise that the GT1 Lambo's made was incredible

Found myself in the Aston Martin Vanquish Owners club car park, which was ... pretty!!! Must have been at least 50 of them.

Was a great (Sun)day out with some excellent full-blooded racing. Was only pity it didn't rain. Last year it really sorted the men from the boys! - Was also great to see Mansell racing at Silverstone again. His apparent lack of pace in what should have been a competitive car I hope was just an indication that he's a bit rusty. We'll have a better idea about that when he races in the Grand Prix Masters later in the year.

I loved it when a Ferrari, who was with the group, drove in to the car park, and steward said "Over there to the far left corner please"
