which lowering springs?

Featured Replies

hi:)

Am looking to change the springs on my fab RS along with the anti roll bar (which is being ordered with jabba) and was wondering which ones to get? Dont really want it slammed but want a good drop in ride height and not an overly harsh ride? Had spax on my old octy RS and they were good but they dont list for the fab RS....The eibachs only drop 25 mm and not sure if they would help.

Any views and recommendations greatly appreciated

cheers

Hi Mate

Eibachs all the way

They do look well on the Fabia vRS and they are excellent springs

Sarah

Agree with Sarah. Eibachs are fantastic on the Fabia. Any lower, and your sump tray will become a problem on bumpy roads.

how much will they get rid of the huge ride height?.....are they the sport line ones or the pro line ones?....pro lines lower it by a good way and the sport not by much.....or so im told.

cheers

Not sure if they are sport or pro, but everyone including myself uses them. They drop by 25mm, which is enough :), new sumps are not cheap, neither are engines, although mine rarely bottoms out compared to when it waqs on standard springs. Jabba ARB will make the biggest single difference

Have a look a search on Eibachs.

I posted pictures in a thread not so long ago, showing the ride height of my car from the side and a few others. They will drop the car by 1 inch exactly, and make it look like it should of done to begin with.

And whilst I'm already on Photobucket....

Here is a 25mm drop with Eibachs..

Hi Mate

They are the Pro line ones

The sport line ones lower further

I would stick with the pro line ones , same as the rest of the bunch

Excellent on the Fabia
