Newbie wanting a TDI105 re-map

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

Just joined this morning !

I'm picking up a 06 reg TDI105 hatch next week.:)

It's a company car that someone else has had (he's now left the company) Don't know what mileage it's done but I would guess between 10 and 20k. My company make it very attractive financially to have these "second user" cars.

I want more power - anything between 130 and 150 would be nice.

I was going to use sp-tuning on ebay to do a re-map, but having read a few posts, this would be obvious to the Skoda-dealer when the car was serviced when they took it for a test drive. I don't want the dealer telling the leasing company, the leasing company telling my employer, and me losing my job !!!

So looks like I need a "box" that I can easily de-install prior to servicing and easily re-install after.

Pennies are tight so I need it to be as cheap as poss - maybe a second hand one ?

Any recomendations as to which type/make would be best for me and where could I get one second hand.

Also I will need a set of roof bars - again as cheap as poss - any recomendations ?

Thanks in anticipation !

Cheers

Nigel

If you want a plug in solution then the most common are the ones from the likes of Dragon.

I suggest to enure you are fully informed before purchasing you do a search for the terms 'digital' and 'analogue'.

Welcome.

I hate to have to do this to a newbie, but what you're proposing to do would actually be fraud, and would leave you uninsured in the event of a crash.
