I always assumed the price would jump a couple of grand in the uk, you know rip-off britain and all that.

The apparent differential in market prices asked for in the above may provide incentive for those wishing to do a personal import - but, lets face it, its not the same as driving it back from Rotterdam or Esjberg !

I suspect that it may, in the fullness of time, become an official Renault import, rather like the VW Polo Fox -

There may be added incentive for Renault in this as there will be a element of self-recommendation as far as the UK Asian community are concerned.

And trimming down the specification to contain costs, in terms of features rather than finish, might go down well in other quarters over here - not everybody wants their ashtrays underlit and musical !

Given the investment that the Renault-Nissan alliance are putting in, I don't think it will be here for some time !
