Yesterday for the first time in many years, Nick Heidfeld drove this years BMW F1 car around the original Nordschliefe circuit in Germany. From what I can gather on the ringers list forum, due to the type of tyres used and the fact that part of the current F1 circuit was used along with stopping for photo shoots, the lap times were not great.

why couldn't they do one fast timed lap , just to see how fast it could do it in
