Featured Replies

im at the momment tryin to cope with the loss of my vrs.( got house so car had to go) im currently drivin round in a rover 216. im tryin to make the most of it, and was wonderin if i take the cat off how much performance do you think ill gain? any draw backs by doin this. apart from the obvious mot. i want to get the most out of my rover till i get the cash together to get another vrs. cheers.

A bit - and if an MOT is imminent, it will fail. That's about it really.

You won't gain enough power to feel any difference. Just a bit more noise..

After market filter and decatted my UK Scooby turbo and it rolling roaded at 251bhp  I'd go for it personally ;)

Well I didn't notice any gain on my Fiesta Zetec-S, Nor my Fabia.

Well your Fabia was a diesel :P No idea on the Fiesta - perhaps the stock exhaust wasn't very restrictive?

I thought the pre 92 models had more power from the K series than the later cat versions. (Your going to tell me now its the honda engine) I assume the before and after are both mpi.
